Mike Preigh, Ph.D
Vice President, Chemistry, Manufacturing & Controls (CMC)
Mike leads all aspects of chemistry, manufacturing, and controls, ensuring quality and scalability as Alpheus advances its investigational drug–ultrasound therapy.
He brings over 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing, including serving most recently as Chief Technology Officer at Day One Biopharmaceuticals, where he oversaw the CMC development, NDA filing, and commercialization of Ojemda (tovorafenib). Previously, he held senior leadership roles at Array BioPharma, where he led CMC teams responsible for developing and filing INDs for more than 20 new chemical entities, including marketed drugs binimetinib (Mektovi) and tucatinib (Tukysa). He began his career at Pfizer, where he spent over a decade in manufacturing, quality, and R&D. Mike earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh and his B.A. in Chemistry from Illinois Wesleyan University.
He is driven by a commitment to translating great science into reliable, scalable therapies that make a tangible difference for patients.
