Imran serves as CFO at Alpheus, where he oversees strategy, operations, and finance to help position the company for its next phase of growth.
Imran brings over 20 years of experience in venture capital, corporate development, and finance, with a focus on emerging therapeutic technologies. Before joining Alpheus, he was the founding partner at Action Potential Venture Capital (APVC), where he led investments in companies pioneering bioelectronic medicines, including the Series A investment in Alpheus Medical in December 2020. Earlier in his career, he held business development, M&A, and finance roles at GSK. Imran earned a bachelor’s from Concordia University and completed his Chartered Professional Accountant qualification.
He is driven by a conviction that the future of medicine lies in combining pharmacologic and energy-based approaches to unlock new possibilities for patients facing diseases like glioblastoma.
